About The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Technician (Onsite) to join our team at Sunbelt Rentals UK on Phillips 66. It’s our vision to own the future of rentals and our mission to deliver a world-class experience.

As a Workshop Technician (Onsite), you will support operational delivery of the Safety and Communications division, you'll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to our customers using your knowledge to help our customers with on-site requests, fault diagnosis and resolution all site Safety and Communication equipment.  

Key responsibilities.

  • Issuing assets to customers whilst providing advice and knowledge, to ensure the safe use of all the equipment.
  • Complete regular calibration of the site and customer equipment.
  • Diagnose and fix equipment where required.
  • Ensure asset compliance systems are kept up to date.
  • To ensure that all reporting, administration is completed in line with Company standards.
  • Involvement with onsite projects ensuring asset management/traceability of all safety and communications equipment.
  • Adhering to and promoting Health and Safety and compliance of equipment standards.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Actively contribute to team management of KPI’s.
  • To raise the Sunbelt Rentals profile and reputation through professional attitude.

The Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Proven experience in a Technical Support role, preferably handling service and repair enquiries however training will be provided.
  • Previous experience of Safety and Communication is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high standards.
  • Eagerness to learn and understand our product range and the wider Sunbelt business.
  • Exceptional communication skills, you’ll have the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • An inquisitive mind, you'll enjoy analysing and problem solving - thinking quickly to provide immediate solutions to complex customer on-site service issues.
  • A flexible and adaptable person, you’ll enjoy a varied workday in a fast-paced operational environment where you’ll manage multiple tasks, deadlines and targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • A commitment to identifying areas of continuous improvement.
  • Flexible working mentality in line with business requirements including occasional weekends and additional hours connected to site-based work.
