A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Email Marketing Manager to join our successful Marketing team. You will own and manage the email marketing strategy and communications plan targeted at both existing and new customers. Developing and execute onboarding, nurture and retention campaigns, ensuring that Sunbelt Rentals services remain at the forefront of customers’ minds, you will optimise growth through delivering an email programme that engages with customers and develops loyalty

Your duties will include:

  • Develop and execute an email marketing strategy to drive engagement, lead conversions and customer retention, aligning strategy with overall business objectives.
  • Design, build and write content for all emails, ensuring brand guidelines and best practices are followed.
  • Establish email performance benchmarks, summarise key insights and recommend actions to improve performance.
  • Generate and present monthly reports back to the business using analytics tools to gain insights and make informed decisions.
  • Support and educate colleagues across the business on general CRM/Email principles, developing and sharing insights and embedding best practices.
  • Create a testing plan to improve customer engagement and produce a record of what does/doesn’t work.
  • Manage activities in line with trading calendar to ensure email promotions are launched accurately and on time.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in email marketing to continually improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Work with our ESP Provider on future platform developments
  • Work with the internal sales teams to create a customer contact plan with new and existing customers.
  • Work with Digital Marketing team and wider Product Marketing team to develop seasonal campaigns and new product launches.
  • Develop and help bring in new solutions/technology to support customer communications.

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:

Essential requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platform.
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases, data analysis, segmentation.
  • Experience in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies.
  • Experience working with external agencies.

Desirable requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Able to utilise common digital marketing software (Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge of onsite user experience best practices.
